Kent
Meyers
is the author of two novels, one story
collection, and a book of personal
essays. His most recent novel,
The Work of Wolves,
won a Mountains and Plains Booksellers
Association Award and was named to The
Christian Science Monitor’s list of
the best books of 2004.
Meyers lives
in Spearfish, South Dakota and teaches
Literature Of the American West,
Creative Writing, Non-western Novel, and
Literature and the Environment.
In addition to writing, he also makes
boomerangs--started as a kid and never
quit doing it.
Adrian Gibbons Koesters
is a native of the East, who in her
teens moved to
the Northwest,
and
finally settled in the Midwest, where
she is still considered an immigrant. A former high school teacher, sign language interpreter, and editorial
specialist, her writing includes poetry,
fiction, and nonfiction. Her book
Healing Mysteries:
A Scriptural Rosary
was published by Paulist Press in 2005. Her poems have appeared in
Smackwarm, Shadows,
Poetry
Porch, and Ink & Ashes.
Her favorite poetic
couplet is from Ogden Nash: "In Old
Tibet, there live a lama/He got no papa,
got no mama." She resides in Omaha,
Nebraska, with her daughter, Clare.
Kristin Connell
is a guitarist, singer and songwriter
from Puyallup, Washington. Her debut
album
Second Chances
shows her range of influences, from
contemporary pop/folk to Americana.
With a peaceful voice that is easy to
listen to, Kristin creates a sincere
appeal to her audience with her
accessible lyrics and soulful vocal
